Our Team, Our Story

Hola, yo soy Silvia Ramos la dueña de Silvias Professional Tax Services. I have been a business owner for numerous years now as well as a real estate broker. In addition to being a successful business woman, I am also the mom of five bright little humans. When out of the office, I love traveling, spending time with my family, and giving back to my community! My dream as a young woman was to one day have a business that would be able to serve my community in numerous ways. That dream has turned into my reality, with the help of my team. We do it all here; taxes, business administration, bookkeeping, payroll, public notary, passport pictures, real estate, and more! I feel so blessed for the team that I have and look forward to seeing how we will all continue to grow. A piece of advice I have for others who want to start their own business is to be fearless and go for it, because you'll never know until you try. If your dreams don’t scare you it’s because they are not big enough. No one believed in me, but I believe in YOU and I am here to help you!

Her staff motivates her, she chooses to continue to grow with their knowledge and ideas for the company. She loves seeing people succeed. Silvia started this company with the inspiration of her children to see it grow and be a part of their life and a part of this family oriented business. ”Biggest memory when I barely decided to open up, was when I shared my crazy idea to my mom about opening up a tax firm. She thought it was a crazy idea but she said `if you believe in you I believe in you.

Isabel Alvarez

Human Resources Assistant

Hi, my name is Silvia Isable Alvarez. I work as a Human Resource for my mom. I love working in my mom’s office because I get to spend time with her throughout the day all while doing my part, so the business can continue to expand. When I am not working I am in school at Heritage University to further my education in the business industry. In conclusion, I love being a part of my mom’s team and can't wait to see what the future has in store for all of us because I know that this is just the beginning.

Ashley Licona

Receptionist

Ashley Licona serves as a receptionist at Silvia’s Professional Tax Services. She brings charisma, a professional attitude and an aptitude for learning how to better serve our customers since August 2022. Licona aspires to help her community by offering her best customer service as they seek to manage their own business. Her ambition is larger than her educational goals. Licona plans to use her education and experience to own and operate their business to cater to our diverse community.

Jacqueline Guerrero

Sr. Accountant

Jacqueline Guerrero has been with our office since September 2020. Her duties here include serving as the lead accountant, a tax professional, and administrative assistant. Ms. Guerrero has extensive knowledge and experience in office management, and is proficient in her application of accounting practices and principles. Her primary goal is to assist clients with all their personal and business financial needs. Her fluency in English and Spanish ensures quality assistance designed to meet the needs of our diverse community.

Payroll Assistant & Receptionist

Yvette is currently working in our Payroll Department as an assistant, She has learned with commitment throughout her career in this business. She's passionate about what she does and she will always receive you with a big smile! Currently, her duties are helping in the Payroll Department but also, assisting at the Front Desk and serving as a Notary Public.

Lucero Chavez

Tax Professional & ITIN specialist

Lucero Chavez is a senior tax consultant at Silvia’s Professional Tax Services. Lucero strives to enhance the highest standards of the business and do her best work possible.

Originally from Oaxaca, Mexico, Chavez was raised alongside her siblings in Toppenish, Wa. In addition to being fluent in English and Spanish, she is also certified by the IRS’s Annual Filing Season Program. A sign of her commitment to the highest standard of service to her clients at Silvia’s.

Chavez is known for her adaptability, trustworthiness and analytical approach to problem solving. Her dedication to excellence has led to a broader perspective and an enhanced knowledge base to better serve clients.

Livier Nava es Contadora en el departamento de contabilidad en Silvia's Profesional Tax Services

Sus habilidades organizativas, administrativas y contables y su atención al cliente han tenido un gran impacto en el crecimiento del departamento.

Antes de mudarse a Washington desde la ciudad de Colima, México, se desempeñó como Contadora Pública durante más de 23 años en México. Nava tiene experiencia en contabilidad, labores administrativas y relaciones públicas, con la ambición de ganar más experiencia y avanzar en su carrera profesional.

La perspectiva bicultural de Nava la convierte en un activo para nuestra empresa y nuestros clientes.

Su objetivo es reanudar sus estudios y adquirir un título aquí en los EE. UU. para ayudar aún más a nuestra comunidad.
